Holiday Wishes

Holiday Wishes

My Odd Sock extends its warmest Christmas greeting to all!

Celebrating the wonderful sights of the season, we are proud to offer you some heartfelt images capturing the spirit of the season.

Enjoy.

Let's see...a Ruger for Molly, a Smith & Wesson for Steve.

Over a month ago when I clipped this ad from the paper, I thought it was oddly funny.

And sad.

But in light of recent events, I now realize this is just plain sad.

Those inflatable Christmas displays are all the rage in my neighborhood (Yeah, I live in the high-rent district).

Here is just a sampling of what I have found….

Bogey at 7 'o clock.

Nothing captures the meaning of the season MORE…than Snoopy battling the Red Baron in a WWI aerial Christmas dogfight.

It’s the decorative Christmas lights draping Snoop’s fighter plane (doghouse) that pull it all together!

Ho ho holy crap!
Ho ho holy crap!

Do you have a lot of Christmas spirit?

These neighbors share it with the world with a Santa that’s bigger than the whole damn house!

This Santa is so big, I found myself looking around for the wicker basket that should be hanging beneath it.

I can just hear the conversation between the people living inside…

Person #1-  “I heard a strange noise.  Look out the window to see what it was.”

Person #2-  “I can’t see anything but a giant red ass!”

Where's the tire pump?
Where’s the tire pump?

Finally, my personal fave is this inflatable nativity scene.

Words cannot describe the secular tackiness!

May you have a very merry Christmas!
