Tired Wired

Tired Wired

Something new.

When you have had multiple sclerosis a while the usual MS talking points get somewhat boring.

Humdrum.  Same-ol, same-ol.

They need jazzed-up a bit to keep my (and maybe your) interest.

Welcome to “Tired Wired,” where we take an old “tired” MS topic and give it a new “wired” spin.

Here we go…

Tired:  the “MS Hug”

Wired:  A “MS make-out session”  (At least to first base, MS.  C’mon!)

MS Make-Out session.

*     *     *     *     *

Tired:  MS drug commercials on television

Wired:  I want to learn about new MS meds from a doctor–not Judge Judy

Not the boss of me.

*     *     *     *     *

Tired:  Oral MS drugs in pill form

Wired:  Come talk to me when I can get my MS med as a frozen margarita

This one’s one me!

*     *     *     *     *

Tired:  (Then) Dress for fashion & style

Wired:  (Now) Dress for comfort & function

Ahhhhh!

*     *     *     *     *

Tired:  Muscle spasms

Wired:  Muscle spasms that count on a fitness tracker

Ooo, that was a good one.

    *     *     *     *     *

Tired:  Normal gait wears down heel of a shoe.

Wired:  Those with MS foot drop wear down the toe.

Good job, Doug.

   *     *     *     *     *

Tired:  Nine-hole peg test

Wired:  Replaced with game “Perfection,” which is equally frustrating

Whoa, watch your temper!

 *     *     *     *     *

And finally,

Tired:  Anti-tipping wheels on a wheelchair.

Wired:  It was the smoke that got me kicked out of Applebee’s

Green light!

Yeah okay, so this wasn’t my best effort.  If you have something to breathe a little life into this bit, please share in a comment.  I’m dying on the vine here!

Keep moving, mate!

      Appreciate your comment! This rather weak post needs all the help it can get. Best to you!
