Things To Do While I Hunker Down

Things To Do While I Hunker Down

Let’s get busy!

During this difficult time, we are being urged to self-isolate & distance ourselves from others.

Many of you may feel as though you are going stir crazy.

But not me.

Why not me, you ask?

Because I have come up with a list of things to do to keep busy while I hunker down.

My list includes the following…

IDENTIFY THE SHRIVELED FRUIT FOUND UNDER THE FRIDGE.

CHANGE PASSWORD FROM ‘PASSWORD’ TO ‘PASSWORD1’

Work it, baby!

WORKOUT WITH MOM’S SUZANNE SOMERS THIGHMASTER.

LEARN TO SILVERSMITH.

CHECK ‘BEST BY’ DATES OF FOOD IN PANTRY.

ROTATE MATTRESS.

READ MATTRESS TAG.

SECRETLY REMOVE MATTRESS TAG.

Eh, maybe next pandemic.

REORGANIZE HALL CLOSET.

COUNT TO A THOUSAND BY THREES.

LOOK FOR IMAGE OF JESUS ON TOAST.

EMPTY THE TRASH FILE IN EMAIL.

FINISH MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY PORTRAIT OF DRYER LINT.

Soon to be silky smooth!

DEEP CONDITION MY BACK HAIR

And lastly,

READ BLOGS THAT DON’T WASTE MY TIME LIKE THIS ONE.

So tell me in a comment what YOU are doing to stay busy!

Be careful.  And be safe everyone.

  1. I love your humor. Doing most things on your list to keep my sanity and looking out for my aging parents. Stay happy and healthy 🙌❤️🌤️

    1. Joanne,
Good for you! Best to your parents! Thank you for your comment. Be safe.

    1. Yvonne,
All is good with pantry stuff. Though one can of beets was iffy.
      Thank you for checking in!

  2. Everything going on these days is my normal. I have been social distancing for the past ten years. During this time, I only leave the house for doctor appointments, and maybe 6 times a year for some handicap friendly outing.

My sister does all my shopping, so I have not been in a grocery store, Walmart, or any other department store in these past 10 years. Because I am in a power chair and cannot get into some places, and I’ve been talking to people through windows for years.

I had tickets for “Hamilton” which has since been cancelled, and my 50th High School reunion had to be postponed until August.

All I have to say to those individuals who are hunkering down, “welcome to my world”.

    1. Margaret,
Thanks for your comment. Sorry to hear about your “Hamilton” show–that sucks!
I am honored you take the time to read My Odd Sock–and apologetic when it doesn’t deliver.
Though we have never met, I am genuinely a better person having you as my virtual friend.
      Be well and keep pushing!
